Terms of Service

These terms apply to all photography, cinematography and event services booked with A.H Studio & Events, Bareilly. Your written quote sits alongside them — where the two differ, your quote takes precedence.

Booking & payment

A 30% advance secures your date and removes it from our calendar. The remaining balance is due before your final gallery is delivered. Dates are held only once the advance is received — an enquiry or a verbal confirmation does not reserve a date, and we cannot hold one against a competing booking without it.

Travel and accommodation for weddings outside our home region (Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit and Puranpur) are quoted separately and itemised before you commit.

Cancellation & rescheduling

Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled shoot may forfeit the advance payment, since the date can rarely be rebooked at that notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability; where we can move your date, the advance moves with it. If we are ever unable to attend for reasons within our control, your advance is refunded in full and we will help you find a replacement studio.

Coverage on the day

Coverage is defined by the functions listed in your quote rather than a fixed number of hours. Indian weddings run late and we plan for that, but functions added on the day may be charged at our standard rate. We are not responsible for moments missed because of venue restrictions, guest interference, or a schedule change we were not told about.

Delivery

Sneak peeks are delivered within 72 hours, the full edited gallery within 4–6 weeks, and cinematic films within 6–8 weeks, measured from the final function. Galleries remain available for download for 12 months — please keep your own backup, as we cannot guarantee archive copies beyond that period.

Editing style is at our discretion and consistent with the portfolio you booked from. Reasonable correction requests are included; re-edits to a materially different style are quoted separately. We do not release raw or unedited files.

Image rights

All raw and edited imagery remains the intellectual property of A.H Studio & Events. You receive a personal, unlimited licence to print, share and reproduce your images for non-commercial use. We may use selected images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless a privacy addendum is signed before the shoot — see our Privacy Policy. Commercial or editorial resale of your images by either party requires the other's written consent.

Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, illness or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control, our liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected coverage. We shoot to dual card slots and back up to multiple drives on the same day precisely so this does not happen.
